Noah Richardson, a senior at Dana Hills High School, has an exuberant passion for the fine arts, specifically photography. He took his interest further than most, going so far as to create his own multi-media organization named Vertix Studios. Over the course of six amateur and two professional years in photography, Richardson has come to amass extraordinary skills in the photographic fields. With multiple clients such as A Pizza Doho, Dana Hills Football, and DH Flicks, Richardson commands respect from his colleagues in the arts.
He remarks that “there is so much negativity in the world, so through my pictures, I want to highlight the positives." Taking this sentiment to heart, Richardson puts it to work by commonly taking pictures of the Dana Hills student section. He says that he chooses them as his muse because the people in the student section are always happy and it is easy to capture that happiness.
With the pure joy of photography by his side, Richardson has been able to become profitable in his pursuits while simultaneously making the world a brighter place. While he is still waiting on a few payments from clients, in the short six months that Vertix photography has been around, he is still able to make money despite the cost of his equipment.
Richardson invites everyone who wishes to become a great photographer to just jump in and try it, as that is how all the greats started. Even if you might not have the most expensive equipment, he still recommends trying it out, as motivation, knowledge, and passion are far more important. Always remember Richardson's key motto, that “in a world full of negativity, something’s always positive."
