Senior Londyn Orr is one of the Co-captains of the SOCSA Dance Team. She, alongside a few others, is a lead choreographer of the upcoming production: Illusions, which will play day 1 Feb 9 and day 2 Feb 10 at 7 pm. Londyn has been with the dance team at Dana for all four of her high school years and plans to continue dancing recreationally after graduating.
Londyn’s mother has taught dance since before Londyn was born, and Londyn says that it was her mother’s career that inspired her to pick up dancing at the young age of three. Londyn loves dancing and it was only a matter of time until she would become one of the Co-captains of the dance team.
Londyn can’t wait to perform at the show “Illusions”, and this show is going to be a memorable one. Londyn and fellow choreographers and Co-captains Lauren Roberson, Lyrah Cabrera and Kempton Bohn have all put large amounts of effort into the production and look forward to their hard work paying off. Londyn says the show is “a fun variety of dances that everyone will like ''. She assures that the show will “be a great way to see what we have been working on all year and maybe get a sneak peak at what is upcoming at games and pep rallies.”
